WE'VE SWITCHED OUR MAILERS TO 100% COMPOSTABLE MAILERS!
Due to all the recent craziness and natural disasters going on with Mother Nature lately, we have decided to change our packaging to a more eco-friendly material.
I mean, come on we only have ONE planet and it’s obvious that more than half of us living on this planet pay no attention to all the damage we cause that we can never take back or fix. So in effort to do our part and to save and improve our environment we have joined @noissue eco packaging alliance!
As much as we have the right to harness all the provisions of Mother Nature, we also have the responsibility to protect our one and only home! PLUSSS, eco-friendly products promote green living which helps to conserve energy and prevent air, water, and noise pollution. They prove to be boon for the environment and also prevent human health from deterioration.
Now here’s the quick rundown on the changes to our packaging….
I don’t know about you guys but when I receive a package once I open it I do what I usually do… THROW IT IN THE TRASH *SWWIISSHHHH*
Therefore, our packaging is now COMPOSTABLE!
That means that compostable packaging is typically made from a number of renewable plant-based materials and/or bio-polymers. In order for something to be compostable, a product must break down in home compost within 180 days and 90 days in commercial composting conditions.
That means that once you throw away your packaging you can be sure it will not harm the environment unlike regular plastic poly mailers, which can at times take up to 20 years or more to decompose. -_- some of us won’t even be around for another 20 years from now but our kids will.
Also, one of the benefits from @noissue is that for every order made, they plant a tree in an area of need.! Shhhh*t the way they cutting down trees nowadays, we need all the trees we can get!
I know it sucks and its “boring” to go green sometimes but look around you, we f*cked up mother nature so bad so far that even the smallest change makes a big difference!
Anyways, im sure you’re not trying to hear me go on and on as to why this is important and why you should do it so I’ve attached a some reading material just for you to read and MAYBE take into consideration.
